Hilux Surf 2LT starts but doesn't move

How did this go? Are you back up and running?
Symptoms lead me to belive vac issues, blowby or turbo. They all often interact

Its not unusual for the 2LT to have lots of blowby by that age. Unscrew the oil fill cap, put your hand over the fill hole and feel if there is lots of pressure. might have to clamp the small vent hose going to the intake.
Should still run strong, but can be slightly altered with a heavier oil, depending on your climate and usage.

So I put the turbo back on and it was running better and the blue smoke was gone but it still was lacking power. First gear seemed alright; but you could tell it was lacking power in second gear and in third gear it was just gutless. I was kind of beat on messing with it so I towed it to a diesel shop and they said it was the injection pump. Hopefully I get it back this week or so.

How is your fuel and filter intervals?

I changed the fuel filter three weeks ago. I tried lighting the old fuel on fire because I thought it might have gasoline in it but it didn't look like it lol.
