Hi all, I am new to the group so thank you in advance for your help and advice. I recently bought a 96 LN106 with a 5L, 3 litre diesel lump in it and a turbo conversion. All was going well until yesterday when it just started to over rev. Now it can't seem to idle, it just revs all the time and the more throttle you give it the higher the rev that it sticks at. A quick fix to bring the revs down a bit is to hard blip the throttle but then as soon as you get back on it, it holds the revs high again. Please can you give me an idea of what might be the cause and how to fix it? I can't find anything anywhere online. It isn't a simple fix either like sticking throttle cable and i have checked the turbo for vac leaks. I am wondering if it the injector pump which i was told is the original 3L model.

That could be your Governor Diaphragm (located inside your IP) same thing happened to me a few years back with my 1981 BJ41 LC.
