High jack vs Floor jack

Harbor Freight has decent floor jacks. Inexpensive, I paid 79 for a 4 ton Pittsburgh and a size small rapid pump with a Kung foo grip.

All good advice guys.....pulled the trigger on the 3.5 ton NAPA floor jack today.
I know a bit of over kill but it is rock solid....

You are using the floor jack to lift, and jack stands to hold it, right? IOW, do not trust the floor jack to hold the car up while anyone is under it.

Arcan XL325R low-profile floor jack. Best jack I've ever owned. Great for the Cruiser and it's low enough to get under my C5 Corvette without having to drive up on boards first. Can be had for $100 at Costco. Just my .02.
