Tool box and tire carrier locks were options for early cruisers. FJ25s and early FJ40s used 30mm HHH tool box locks. Later FJ40s and FJ45s used 30mm Alpha tool box locks and 35mm Alpha spare tire carrier locks.
This is a rare example of an early HHH lock with a chrome shackle. Later HHH lock shackles are plain brass.
Both the HHH and Alpha locks are used and have marks from age and wear.
