Just a little change of pace from the boring and food-less dealership. At panara bread we can eat, drink and talk business...anybody in for this? It's probably closer for some of you too. ;)

I'm not much of a panera bread guy, but if you come up with a couple different choices to choose from and picked the winner, that would be cool.

Well, we can chime in with an opinion and we can take the most popular?

Can anyone confirm that there is a place for us to meet at Old Chicago?

Have we not had x-mas parties there?? Would that confirm it.

Im Game for a Location Change. ( i live at the Far south west part of town)

although we try this every year, im happy to help and give my input.

my Criteria
1. Centrally Located (I-25)
2. Good space (room for 15+/- people)
3. Reasonable Prices, Selection of food. ability to not buy anything

I think Pizza would get old quickly.. but maybe not, i eat it once a week anyway :D

The issues that we have had in making this a reality is everyone has a different idea of the perfect place, and we all live in different parts of the city.

One solution would be have the meeting at the/a dealership, and have a non club sponsord Social meeting before or after at a place we choose online, or at the meeting, and can change as needed.

I think that back in the heyday of the club when there were 25 people at the meetings this would not have worked. I have not seen more than twelve people at a meeting in two years, I see people get tables for 10 at restaurants all the time.

If we go one place every week, the food will get old...doesn't really matter where it is. I would like to stay away from places that are normally quiet, just because if I am trying to have dinner, I don't want a bunch of Toyota club guys having a meeting next to my table. I think this would have been an issue at Panera bread. Buffalo Wild wings would be a good example of a place that is too loud. I think Old C's would be a good starting point.

Just my .02 :hhmm:

I am just throwing this out here but if we try a place it doesn't mean that it's going to be the site for the rest of the meeting's forever. It's just a trial run. Off the subject and not try to stir up trouble, but I was wondering why we don't have the meetings the friday night before the trail run. I was just wondering. I may have asked chuck that question but I can't remember what he said.

The panera bread on n. academy has a separate meeting room with doors that groups can reserve. And right next door is Extreme Pizza that has better pizza than O.C.'s (in my opinion) and has beer on tap too.

Ok, so let's set some rules up.

Let's wrap this up this weekend...sunday we have a place and we will be there.

If your not going to the meeting in November...I really don't want to read from you...if you are going...fine give me a location...sorry...don't mean to offend but, people and their opinions in these forums are like A:censor: H:censor:s, every ones got one. :flipoff2:

good luck..:p

I will vote for Old Chicago.

As for having the club meeting on Friday, I know for myself it would more difficult to not get home until 9:00pm on Fridays vs. Tuesdays.

OK,
Old chicago it is...I'll give them a call and get the room for us...hope we can get a good number of folks...makes for a more interesting meeting.

What is the date and time of this meeting?

Come to the meeting and check it out. Turn out does vary quite a bit. You and I are spot on for interests, I'll think you will have fun with this group. -- Leon
