I thought this could be interesting. Not sure how many of you make it over to Expedition Portal, but a guy over there is trying to arrange an expo net using IRLP. It looks pretty interesting. Had no idea IRLP was apparently invented by a guy from West Van.

are you already licensed? Currently on the north shore ham club's web site for sale section is a Yaesu FT 2600 for $160, and an FT2400 for $140, could be a little wiggle room there too, I don't know. Not sure if they only sell to members, but I doubt it.
