Got a late start this morning for Big Bear, Got to fawnskin about 1045, so I missed everyone. So I decided to go to Holcom creek and see who shows up. Hooked up with a great group of guys from Sons of Thunder 4x4 club.. We started Holcom on the Fawnskin end and got to the rock garden in the middle. The guy in front of me made a u out of his center link in a Cherokee..

So I am under this cherokee helping fix it when one of the guys in the club says hey do you know Dave D. he has a cruiser like yours....(btw this is the second time I have been asked this)

I know most of us know Dave but the question is,

is there anyone who wheels in socal that doesn't know Dave ???

It is a small world... I am lousey with names but there was about 5 of them and they all were great. It was a fun afternoon.. Just a nice group..

here we go,

newer rubicon yellow, long wheelbase one
black tj anicepticly clean...and well setup...
burgandy/red extra cab toy with straight axle conversion (he is the one that asked if I knew you)...
red shortbed toy straight axle also on 36's that was unreal.. (max out the rti ramp)
and the only casualty of the day a red cherokee with cut out fenders running 35's... we sleeved the center link with a highlift handle and continued..
