Wow, that looks like a lot of work.

Can you post a some picture of the routing of the DS floor harness from the ECU all the way back. I am considering runing the OEM locker harness in my non-Locked buggy.

Also, how was the carpet fastened to the floor? Any pointers on pulling the interior and carpet?

Lookin good!! Just cover everything, it'll make cleaneing easier than having to worry bout no coating under the seats. Plus the rough surface that never sees daylight will attract dog hair like a magnet, hence easy clean-up.

You gonna coat the wheel wells?

Next thing you know you'll be coating the roof white so it not as hot and looks like a 40 or FJC.

Once you pull the seats and the body panels off, the carpet comes up pretty easily with some brute force. If you want to save the carpet, just use less brute force. If you are not going to be saving it, just tear it up, as the saying goes.

Here are the pics of the wiring harness direction starting from the USDS right where the left foot would sit on the foot rest in the upper left of the front. Then it continues on along the little valley that is covered over by carpet and plastic. Then it goes into the frame right before the rear USDS wheel well and then hooks up in the rear.

Nope. Not going to coat the wheel wells because they will eventually be covered over by custom tool/gear boxes like the ones found on pick-ups.

Nice idea on the white roof...

Not sure if Herculiner comes in white....research time. Idea planted.

Thanks Kris!

Durabak comes in white. I used it on a Chevy I used to have. Worked well except for the carbides of sleds.

Thanks for the info. Kris.

Gotta get a job first though before I do the roof. Cruiser fund almost depleted.

Got the second coat on this evening.

One more tomorrow and should be good to go. It's on thick.

Later gents.

Jerome--check the thread that you started yesterday. I responded to that. Also, PM AMMO as he was one of the documented first to do this to his truck. I was merely following in his footsteps.

Here's your thread:
