I'm completely new to the forum but have been browsing it for the last two months. Recently sold my car and looking to a 4runner. I have to admit, I'm not the most well versed in trucks but know more than most gals.
I recently came cross a 90 4runner V6 Auto with 147k. It's one owner, driven by a lady but sold by her son in law. Recently done are: water pump, timing belt, serpentine belt, new spark plugs and wires, new roaters and brakes. I THINK he mentioned the radiator is done as well.
What might be needed is a freon recharge or A/C Compressor. Asking $2900 OBO in Southern California. Is this a good price or do I have a room to negotiate? He also has some oil change service records but not all.
And anything else I should look for? I know the V6 engines have gasket problems so I am going to check that it has been resolved. Any input would be appreciated. Thank you!
