Help tearing down 80 series seats...

I'm tearing down the seats on my 1997 80 series. Any tips on removing the headrest holders in the top of the seat?

This is from the instruction I posted for seat heater installation: From the back of the seat, use a long screwdriver and one hand to compress and push the guides up and out.

The guides are split at the bottom and need to be pushed together and then pushed up. You might be able to get a long pliers in there or some other tool.
