First and foremost thanks in advance for the help and sorry in advance for the long-winded post. Back story, unabused 99 LX470 155k on the clock purchased from a 91 year old lady who kept it in the garage and finally turned in her license in turn selling the beast to me. Basic maintenance was always completed on time including timing belt at 144k, but of course AHC was not touched to my knowledge.
I got it a few weeks ago, did AHC fluid swap and replaced original globes from 99 with new ones from IMPEX (originals still passed the pencil test, but I assume it was close to time with 8 gradations). I dialed in the suspension and got my front pressure to 6.4 after torsion bar adjustments (all drivers side cranks somewhere around 8 or 9 full turns) and rear within tolerance. My measurements for the front were both perfectly equal from center of hub to bottom of fender at 19.25". I elected to do the AHC sensor lift but only 1.25". I adjusted the sensors and both sides measure exactly 20.5" at this point. I ran Techstream to see how much I would need to crank both sides and realize that the drivers side torsion bar has no more adjustment but the passenger has a ton. What should I do at this point? My front pressures from Techstream are below (7.6) and sensors are within spec. Do I re-index the drivers side torsion only? Index both? Is something perhaps wrong? What to do next? TIA
