Hi everyone!

The symptoms arise at 70 mph, It feels like a judder/vibration that in turn leads to the brake pedal moving side to side from the vibration while at this speed. Below 70 mph there is no play in the brake pedal nor is there any vibration. There is no vibration upon braking at any speeds ruling out rotors.

I've done everything short of pulling my hair out chasing this vibration on my 96. I've replaced the front driveshaft, and the rear driveshaft with OEM parts.
I've done new OEM shocks as well. I also got all 4 tires road force balanced too. I was wondering has anyone else ever dealt with this or any recommendations?

Have you checked your abs wheel sensors? Pull them out and clean them off and see if that helps. After that I’d go through the troubleshooting steps in the FSM.

Also check front wheel bearings.

I've had a brake pedal shudder caused by loose front bearings a few times in various vehicles.

May not be your cause, but its an easy, 5 minute job each side to check for play that's worth crossing off the list early. Easy fix too, if they are loose.

Loose brake calipers?

Brake pedal movement is completely isolated from ABS sensors, calipers and even softlines and hardlines. Is your booster and master cylinder properly bolted to the firewall. Most folks experience issues under braking which could be the other items listed.
