Toyota Part number 90950-01450. Looks like amayama has it but hoping to avoid the 6-11 day delivery time.

Want to get it in ahead of sound deadener and dnp carpet kit which is on its way.

Any leads/suggestions and alternatives welcomed!

Thanks, have had minimal luck there. May just go with a variety pack on amazon and hope one works.

Just went thru this on a car. They're sized by the hole they fill. Measure the hole and Google. I call them body plugs but that didn't do the trick very well searching. Maybe "sheet metal plug".

Anyway you should be able to find the size you need. Shipping or minimums are the problem on that type of stuff

Appreciate the help.

Thank you guys and thanks for the redirection of this thread to the proper forum.

I ordered a set with 9 different sizes for 6 bucks on amazon. Hoping one of them fits. Set from autozone had plugs for the smaller floor and wheel tub holes.

Frustrating that Toyota never listed/used measurements to describe this part.

Will just leave this area exposed til I find a part.

I checked my 90950- ##### Grommet & Plug collection / inventory tote , i have over 30 different part#'s

if u simply use a pocket caliper & give me the ID or inside dimension hole Spec. size in Millimeters , i can quickly measure ones close by eye and see if i have a match

this technique has worked well for me in the past , for example ID = 17mm , they generally will be Whole mm size increments , but i have

seen a few .5 or 1/2 step size ones like 17.5mm for example.....

Thank you, Matt. Really cool of you.

Don’t have a caliper. Measured though to what I think would be 20MM (about 25/32 of an inch).

u have to use one of these

if your off more the 1mm either way the plug will Not work

toyota made these plugs precise

U can pick up one of these small but Very Accurate pocket calipers for under $15-20 ,

from my experience the tape measure method , even a small metric one is too crude , u need more precise to obtain the correct tight fit plug as Toyota intended , Down to a 1mm + or - tolerance

@Tonto18 I just got a couple used ones of these from Chris Sigfrid for a very reasonable price. He sent me the wrong ones at first but totally made good on it on round two.

I didn’t even think of Chris. Was really responsive on another part search I had earlier on. Thanks for the suggestion/reminder!

This forum is awesome. More useful info and help here than even Toyota can provide.

Thanks to @joebattle1 for graciously sending me the right plug. Did so for no charge, and after spending a few messages confirming it was the right one. Will go in in the morning.

Cool to be a part of this group.

I didn’t see this before just now and could have saved you a bunch of time/trouble/measuring. I found that the best drain hole plug is the cork top from just about any bourbon bottle (except Blantons). It’s easy to remove when needed. And a conversation piece.
