Does anyone have any idea what this connector is called or what the part number is? I was trying to fix the frayed wires on the female end and it just crumbled apart on me ;>(..

Whatever it is, it's likely a Yazaki 090-ii. Search 'mud for that and you'll turn up threads on the Yazaki catalog and how to find the connectors cheaper than from Toyota.

OK I found it it is part number 90980-10946 if anyone ever needs the info.. It is part of the alternator wiring harness..
On mine the wire on the engine side corroded off inside the plug. I replaced it with a simple one wire connection. The original plug is kinda big for one wire, but, that one wire will kill the ECU because it is the B+ signal into it. My rig was DOA until we found and fixed the problem.

Yeah I am finding all sorts of broken insulation on wires that I am patching.. As well as many broken connectors. Since my head is off for a hg replacement the main harness is very easy to get to and fix.. So while I am at it I may as well fix all the the broken connectors. Found two rotten connections in the round plug the connects to the transmission.. Pulled the bad wires and gave them their own dedicated connection. Hope that will get me by for awhile..
