OK, I think I can get you set up to use your Marlin rebuild. Here's pretty much all of what you need:

Throttle-Cable-1.jpg

Throttle-Cable-2.jpg

The first photo shows a new aftermarket throttle cable, new carburetor base gasket, and other hardware. I noticed that your Weber carburetor is attached to your intake manifold with bolts, instead of studs and nuts. You'd need to get the four studs (not sure if these are still available from Toyota - generic would work), one more 12mm X 1.25 jamb nut for the carburetor end of the cable (Part Number 94125-41200 - see second photo), and a return spring (NLA from Toyota - generic would work). I don't know what your accelerator pedal looks like, but if it's stock you can use the firewall bracket with stopper shown on the right in the first photo.

The second photo shows a close-up of the parts you'd need to swap out on the end of your primary throttle shaft. The parts on the left are what you currently have - the parts on the right are what you replace them with. The photo also shows the bracket that attaches under one of the bolts that secures your carburetor body to the base.

If you go online you can get a new aftermarket cable for $22.50 and new base plate gasket for $5.00. I can send you all the parts shown for the same $27.50, plus shipping. PM me if you'd like to go that route.

I PM'd you.

4 Cruisers is offering good advice and a solid deal for difficult to find parts.

An air cleaner, 70-74 style, is also required. On the 74 Cali-spec carb, be sure to cap off the EGR pipe in the middle of the carb.
A bonus is that 74 Cali carbs already have a ported vac fitting to connect to a vac advance dissy (if equipped).
