Troubleshooting my AC and found this wire frayed after unwrapping some blue electrical tape from it. Black/white wire goes to AC Comp, other two go to the ?Temp sender? in the block? The brown and white seem to go into this blue shielded wire, brown comes out and is crimped to the frayed part. Is this normal? The frayed part is continuous with ground.

I've paper clipped the AC pressure sensor, its passing 12v, but getting nothing to the AC clutch it seems (pulled the single plug that this black/white wire connects to and probed it).

Connected to whatever this is behind the AC Comp:

Looks like that might be the oil pressure sender? So would have nothing to do with the AC?

Is that weird shielded wire the stock "noise filter for oil pressure sender gauge."

Correct - that is your oil pressure sender, two wires. Other wire is A/C compressor. Related only in their proximity to one another.
