I've been trying to get distributor installed and my truck running for the last few days. I'm pretty sure I'm doing it right, but I must not be.
I turn crank until it's at TDC...look down #1 plug hole to verify piston is at top, align the oil pump, drop dizzy in so when it's fully inserted it points at #1 terminal on cap, plug all the crap back into it and truck just turns over.
My latest attempt was to pull dizzy & rotate it 180 since I read that somewhere last night...same thing just turns over...so I need help I guess.
Does anyone want to come help me get the TuRD running? I can offer some cold, craft brew or something for your help! I'm in COS near Pwrs/S Carefree.
