Hi,

I have a an Lx450, 1997.
Lately the truck is drinking a lot. So I start to diagnostic step by step. I'm now test the o2 sensor.

As I saw and read we can test the o2 sensor resistance with just a multimeters. So I did a test with my multimeters and the reading is 14,7 of resistance. Is this within spec?

And the last time that I did a ob2 scan with live data.

The o2 sensor 1 bank 1 read: 0.000 volt
The o2 sensor 2 bank 2 read: 0.015 volt

I'm a bit lost now, as on live data it's seems that the o2 sensor 1 doesn't work but on indépendant test with the multimeters it's has resistance

Thank you

A.

Here's what the FSM says:

So, at 14.7 ohms, you're in the good range. The sensor is good. The problem with this system is that the ECU can tell you the sensor reading is bad, while the sensor itself is good (that's what the OBDII reader is telling you). There is an extensive troubleshooting list for this DTC.

These are usually P0130, P0135, P0141 or P0136

My truck is a 94 and only uses 2, O 2 sensors, but those voltages your listing look like both your O 2 sensor's are bad. When you live streamed your data, were the sensors switching back and forth between rich and lean? Anyway here's a link to a thread about how i fixed my O2 sensor's, plus it lists the correct voltage for the sensors used on my truck.

Here's a link to another web page that has some more information that may help you trouble shoot your O2 sensor problems.
