Hey everyone. I am working on replacing my 1970 brakes back to a working order. I ordered this kit from CoolCruiser Shopping Cart
. They don't fit at all, the wheel cylinders are to big for my fittings and master cylinder is to small for my fittings. This makes no sense. I believe I have the 9mm brake lines, witch are hard to find parts for. It says on Cool Cruiser website that this kit fits 61 to 7/'70 FJ55's. So I was assuming that these would fit and bolt right on, but they don't. Does anyone have any ideas, experience with this kit?
Thank you,
Milo.

Purists get you torches lit... find a later rear drum and front disc brake axle. Use a 4Runner booster and master with an fj60 prop valve (cityracer). If you can shape metal, the fzj80 rear axles have great disc brakes with built in ebrakes and a wider stance... they require 16” rims, and have less offset doffs (not a problem) but are also full floating... start with those brakes, move to the steering then springs, then everything else after that. Hth.
