Christo,
No problem on the hi-jack. More info on the Blueberry the merrier!:D

Nay,
The Blueberry is the second runner up for the following reasons:
  • The 80 hasn't been wrecked (yet;)).
  • ABS (for the wife in snow and ice).
  • More streetable (this is an assumption, but I've driven a few 80s on 35s and they are fine compared to rigs on 37+ w/o sways)
  • Nicer body (obviously I'm an ass man, I love 80s and their healthy backsides:grinpimp:).
That being said, if I was shopping for a 2nd vehicle or I was still single, I'd already be driving the Blueberry! Trust me, every bit of me that is influenced by testosterone says "GET THE BLUEBERRY!", but the 80 (as you know) will still get me quite a few entertaining places.;)

I am in Durango and can offer up my 80 for sale. Just inherited a new ride so I have too many. It is a 94, locked, rebuilt head and about 11k in receipts and maint. records. 2.5 OMe with new 285's. Pics on a thread about Moab pics on this forum. Dark Green with third row. Let me know, not sure what I'm gonna do with her!

I hate threads that people don't conclude so here goes...

I bought the green 80 I mentioned early in this thread. It's fantastic. Darryl did an amazing job keeping things looking Toyota inside the cab. Everything is top-notch! More goodies than I could have imagined (and I have an active imagination)! Grueling day that started at 9am in Aspen and finally ended with me pulling into my carport around 3am.

Thanks to all for help, especially Christo (this whole deal would have never happened without you)!!!

Good on ya!
