Greetings. After poking around the internet today looking for a fan pull switch for my 1977 FJ40, I decided to join this forum. I've had my FJ40 since 1995 and it was my main DD vehicle from about 1996 to 2002. From 2002 until 2012 it was my spare vehicle, and since then it's been used as off-road farm truck only. Now I want to put it back on the road as a spare vehicle and for driving in the snow (which is super rare around here) so I'm making some repairs. I'm hoping to learn as much as I can on this forum about repairs, maintenance, and affordable replacement parts. My truck has a stock rebuilt 2F engine with a 38mm double barrel Weber carb. Stock 4 speed transmission and transfer case, hard top, original stock rear jump seats, and a roll bar. Original color was mustard. I've not been good at all to the exterior of the truck, letting it rust out in the rain a lot, but everything on it still works except the fan switch which went bad recently.
