LAND CRUISER 120 WITH AVS ( comfort-sport suspension )

Greetings from Greece. I am facing the following issue: the front axle has been loaded with 80-100 kg and the front suspension has dropped 4 cm. Has anyone changed only the spring to a higher and heavier one (e.g. oldman or dobinson) and kept the ome shock absorber (the one with the comfort-sport adjustment)? so that the correct height is restored and it can lift the extra kilos?

Haven't tried that, but assume it would work. Shocks dont support weight at all, just springs. As for ride/response of that combo, no idea...

Could be the current springs are just old and worn out. But here's what google says. Has an option at the bottom for higher spring rate options

You can change the coils but the adjustable system won't work the same with the spring rate change. If you want to regain the height, you can give it a shot with new taller coils, but ultimately the adjustable shocks may not like the new height and the stronger springs rates that come along with it.

4cm is a lot of drop, and that's probably due to the light stock spring rate that came with that system.
