I have a 1975/40, can I get one of you folks to check your headlight switch and tell me if it has a rheostat function that dims the instrument cluster lights, mine does not, and the dash lights wont come on, and somebody with an earlier model do the same, I am trying to determine if I have the wrong switch in mine.:bang:
Do all the models have the rheostat or none of of them.

Thanks

Guys Thanks, either mine is frozen REAL bad, ( I grabbed it with a pair of linemans pliers and tried to twist it) or its the wrong switch, everything else works, regardless looks like I need a new headlight switch, as the dash lights will not come on, YIKES $$$$

Just pulled the switch, something definitely not right with the rheostat, and sure nuff looks like the one in Nuclearlemons pic...although not in that loc.

Guess I am coming to see you tomorrow Mark:grinpimp:

Hey Mark, nice part! everything works as it should, dash lights work, as well as the two other lights, one in the center of the dash pad and one under the dash above the shift levers. Thanks:bounce: Now I can finally complain about the dim dash lights like everyone else:)
