Headlight switch wiring (1 Viewer)

Can anybody help me with headlight switch connections? My cruiser was a mess when I got it so I am changing out all the wiring. The only terminal I know for sure is Marked battery. 1967 FJ40

Thanks, I went old school with some redneck engineering. I hooked batt lug on the switch to the battery, Clipped wiring pigtail to a horn and toned the terminals out.

B = Power in/Battery
P = Headlights
L = Tail lights, license plate light
M = Meter/Gauge lights
H = Front bib marker lights

hopefully this will help someone out in the future.

If you look at the wiring diagrams in the post referenced in #2 by @Byron you would see that you are mostly correct. You have H and P reversed. Nice improv with the horn!!
