Just bought a 2017 200 series in Grey with a black interior. Dream car for me, and I’m thrilled. 80k miles, one owner, no accidents, full service at a Toyota dealership every 5k miles. I couldn’t be more happy!

Everything in the car is mint except for a bit of missing clear coat on the piano black bezel around the screen/head unit.

I’d like to try to replace it, but I also don’t want to buy a 3k head unit assembly to replace the bezel. Anybody have any tips for a cheap fix?

I also know this is inconsequential and silly, and my wife has pointed this out more than a few times, but alas I’m very anal and stuff like this really bothers me.

A photo of the chip would be a huge help.
It would wouldn’t it!

Automotive Interior

Trim Repair

For a local shop. They’re guys that specialize in this sort of stuff. Also if you have a local Lexus or Porsche dealer see who they use for interior repair work.

mine is doing the same thing and I just keep peeling it off...cant really even tell the difference.
