after a blown head gasket is rebuilt/replaced in a petrol engine roughly how many kms are you looking to get out of it after it's been fixed?
For example on a petrol engine you're looking at 300,000kms before blowing a head gasket, so once replaced are you looking at getting another 300,000kms?
Thanks

I feel that the answer to this question is dependent on quite a few variables. For example, how well was the replacement job done? What quality of parts were used? What else was done during the head gasket repair? I'm not sure anyone could really say, unfortunately.

There is no correct answer to this question. Some 1fz's will go 400k miles on the original head gasket and never need a replacement, some will only make it 100k. Luck of the draw.
