I have searched the whole internet and cannot find a direct answer, I have a 1996 HDJ80 (ft engine) i would like to buy new fusible links for as the ones on the vehicle are 30 years old and dont look like they will last much longer, what are my options?
As far as i know all of them are NLA.
Im leaning towards going to MIDI fuses with a fuse box.
looking at my links i have:
RH Battery
1- Glow: 4.0 which are 2x blue 2.0 wires
2- Main 2.0 1x blue wire
3- grey plug 1.25 1x black wire
4- grey plug 1.0 1x yellow wire
LH battery
5- 0.5 1x green wire I believe for starter relais
looking at fusible links charts if im going the MIDI fuse direction it looks like i will have to change them for:
RH Battery
1- Glow: 4.0 which are 2x blue 2.0 wires -> 200 amp midi fuse
2- Main 2.0 1x blue wire -> 100 amp midi fuse
3- grey plug 1.25 1x black wire -> 80 amp midi fuse
4- grey plug 1.0 1x yellow wire -> 60 amp midi fuse
LH battery
5- 0.5 1x green wire I believe for starter relais -> 40 amp midi fuse
am i thinking right
or is there something i did not think of?
