Refresher

For a refresher as we get back into the swing of thigs after the holidays, here are the prices for both roofrack clamps and crossmembers (Shipping is extra)

Crossmembers:
Powdercoated Cardinal "mock rock"--$25 per crossmember.
(3 Crossmembers, $25*3=$75, 4 crossmembers, $25*4=$100)

Brackets

This next order looks good to be done on or before Jan 15th. Please post up if someone still wants some, as I do have a couple extra.

For those who have confirmed that you want some, i will be double checking addresses and making arrangements for payment.

For those who paid already, as soon as I get them I will get them in UPS asap.
 
I would like to get a set, but would like you to ship them using USPS. Is that possible? The reason is that I live in Canada and UPS has pretty huge fees for shipping across the border.

I will ship them any way you want, just be aware that the box is approximately 14x14x6. I already got some to Edmonton, AB, and he said the charges weren't bad. Please PM me for particulars.

Wow...just got my clamps and crossbars today. These things are heavy duty...I yanked the stuff out of the very professionally packed box and my wife exclaimed "What the hell are those...we're not going on any fawking safari !". The clamps and crossbars are very stout, nicely finished and packaged like I bought them from Nieman-Marcus !

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you - life got a little crazy, and as shocking as it may seem, the cruiser took a back seat for awhile. Count me in if you need to keep track of interest.

I'd definitely be interested in picking up a set of 8 brackets. I'm just now seeing this thread. PM me if you decide to make up any more sets.
 
Another order in a month or so...

Just like porkysan and knorrena did, if there is enough interest(6 or more people wanting to order 6 or more brackets) I will place another order. Turn time has almost been cut in half now that the process is worked out. I am glad this is working out for folks.

The sooner I get commitments from folks, the sooner the order can be placed. So tell your buddy to get some, too, and we'll order them up!
 
*UPDATE* 1-25-08
I made the adjustment slots to be longer both ways, so these now do have the additional travel of 3/8" up and down. That would make the up/down height range from 4 3/4" at the lowest to 6 1/4" at the highest, instead of 5 1/8" and 5 7/8". The most recent run on 1-15-08 should all be this way.

I hit the center of my FJ60's roof when I tried to use a 4.5" off-brand clamp. This due to the curvature of the roof. As you can see in the photos, the range is 5 1/8" to 5 7/8"(Now 4 3/4" at the lowest to 6 1/4" at the highest).

Is there any chance that these might be ready to ship within the next week or so? I am asking because I will be in Dallas on Feb 11-13, and shipping would be a lot less expensive for me if I can pick them up there and bring them home.

Next order

I usually wait until I have interest enough for 36 to 42 brackets(6 to 7 sets of 6) before I place an order. Right now there are only 2 folks ready to buy. I wish I was ready to ship them for you, but I haven't placed the order and orders take 12-15 days.

I will see what I can do, but I can't promise anything.

I have just put in an order for another round of Roofrack gutter clamp brackets.

I will update on when they will be ready to ship (~15 days) and get them to folks.
