Hey Groucho, I'm new to this site,(so go easy on me bud). I got a 96 FZJ80, and I'm looking for gutter clamps I could use w/the Gobi rack i got (came out of a H2 hummer). I'd like to use the plates which are welded on the rack by using your brackets. The only problem would be that the holes in the clamps won't line up with plates. I could weld a new one to match yours but is it possible for you to move where the holes are in your clamp? If you can't, that's ok. These are the nicest clamps I've seen. By the way, I am about 90 min from you. Could I swing by to see you and show you the clamps I have? I have business up your way on Sat. Thanks.

UMMAGUMMA,

No problem. I would be happy to look at how you would like the hole configuration and see what I could do. Let me know about Saturday. I'm sure we could work something out.

Groucho.

Bump! For the holidays...

Hows the wind noise with the Crossbars? Im thinking of picking up 6 of the new lower clamps and 3 48" 10GA crossbars. Just seems that the bars would have much more turbulence with all the holes and angles than round stock:meh:

From what i gather so long as i remove the large factory rack, i can leave the runners on and use the lower mounts correct?

Also, gamiviti has the low gutter clamps on his site but not the 10GA crossbars found on the tallowpot site. Should I purchase them seperatly or can one of you supply both? Thanks, great work:cheers:

Yes to the above question. With the lower profile gutter clamps, you'll still be able to clear the OEM ribs/runners (but can adjust the cross bars to be less than 1" aware from the ribs if you want it really close.

I did not see any option for the lower feet on your site?

I'm interested in getting 6-8 feet and load bars.

I have no factory rack and want to keep this as low as possible.

Thanks,

TallowPot Products to be absorbed by Gamiviti.com

We are sad to report that after 4+ years, TallowPot products will no longer be providing quality aftermarket knick-knacks to the IH8MUD community (among others!).

INSTEAD, Gamiviti.com, those guys who brought you the seat gears and caps to replace the 80 series worn out parts that would otherwise cost you folks a fortune, will be taking over the TallowPot product line. We have enjoyed working with Gamiviti.com for so long and know that it is going to be a seamless transition.

I have chosen a different life path. I will be opening up a brewery in Broomfield Colorado.

Thanks for 4+ years of great times!!

Thank you for supporting the LC community:cheers::cheers:

I'm glad I didn't give away my gutter mounts and load bars with the truck when I sold my 80:grinpimp:

Next time I'm on Co, I'll have to stop in and have a
