A national tire chain store told me the only thing he would recommend Bridgestone Alenza Plus over the Michelin is that the rubber compound used on its tire tend to have premature hardening and cracking due to the humidity in Florida, and the Bridgestone would tend crack less, anyone heard of this?

I have heard of tires cracking because of the sun, when I was a kid we put covers over the tires on our travel trailer to prevent the sun from drying them out.
But I do not think humidity has anything to do with it. You're not the only place that gets humid and hot.

I do not know the max size you can go with without a lift.

Getting my Michelin Defender on Thursday. Does anyone one know what's largest size stock suspension can take? I ordered 275/60/18. Can still change today.

Now rolling with the Michelin Defenders, they are noticeably smoother and quieter than the BFG KO's that they replaced. Hopefully they will be durable and reliable.
Very happy with them so far.
