Have an 81 BJ and wanting to replace the cluster.

Its a 12v system. Are the clusters interchangeable depending on year? Want to know what I'm getting into before I get started. Have already purchased new speedo cable. Thanks for any help.

The clusters are interchangeable what's wrong with yours as they can be rebuilt.

Seems you can buy a new one cheaper than having an old one rebuilt.
