can someone help me find out what these fit:
MVC-022F.webp

Interested in the fuel sender. Any idea what it fits or the part number? I'd be needing it for the '45LV.

bearings

Mark, If you take those numbers from the boxes to a auto parts that carries Federal Mogul, Bower and BCA bearings they can tell you what all they will fit. You might also try a NAPA store. If you can't find someone local I can get you that info.
Did you score any wiring harness in that stuff or would you have the harness that goes from the firewall to the headlights on the passenger side of a early 1980 fj40? I'm not sure how many years are the same but I would think several. Please let me know, Thanks John

FYI-

01/79-07/80 are the same.....previous are different as are later...and the headlamp section of this 'cowl' harness is integral with the rest of the dash wiring harness.

If I understand you correctly, you are saying that all other year models, other than 1/79 to 7/80, the headlight section is integral with the dash wiring?
That will make it very hard to find one like I need unless ---- YOU HAVE ONE!!!!!!!!!!! COME ON MAN - GIVE IT UP,

HEY THANKS FOR THE INFO, AS SIGNATURE SAYS--

No, that is not what I said.

Toyota made different wiring harness for the Land Cruiser prior to your year/month and after, which are not compatible with your application.

The headlamp wiring is integral with the rest of the dash wiring on your harness, along with all others.

In order to replace the headlamp wiring in your Land Cruiser, you will be removing you old wiring harness, and installing a complete new unit from under the dash, forward through the bulkhead, and into the engine compartment.

Toyota did not make a headlamp harness after 1972 that was not part of the main truck harness, and even with the harnesses previous to 1972, the wires that connected to the junction block on the passenger side of the truck were rooted into the main vehicle harness, and not something you could unplug at the bulkhead and plug in a new section.

I took a couple of sections out of a 12/79 harness that's still hanging around the shop. Prolly have what you need THERE [not here, where the 'puter is]

I'll put whats left of the harness in a box and send it to you for $50. If interested, CALL THE SHOP.

Thanks

Harness

Poser, I guess I'm just wanting to prove a point but on my 12/79 Fj40, the harness, on the passenger side fender, that goes to various items under the hood and ends at the headlights, is a sperate loom that unplugs from the main harness under the dash. I have it out of the truck . This may be an oddball to Toyota but it is a factory application. Thanks, John Butcher

CB radio sold today.;)

Mark, waiting on info on the fuel sender. Did you miss my earlier post?? I'd like to get everything together at once and save a little on shipping if possible!

Sender is NOT for an LC. I'm gonna put a list together of all the NOS bearings and non-LC stuff and send it off to a dealer to try and find out what it does fit. Seems like the spark plugs may actually be Toyopet only!

Hey guys! I lucked out and got that CB from Mark the other day... Sorry if any of you guys were eyeing it! I find myself traveling over to Mark's shop a little too frequently now, but its all good. Well, anyway, I am going to be doing a little write-up on that CB over the next few days and it will be in the tech section if you guys want to keep an eye on it.

More specifically, I will be dealing with the CB itself as well as its secure mounting in the stock radio space of my 73 FJ40.

Here's a whole list of PN's from a misc box. $350 for the box BEFORE I give the list to Toyota and find out what a fortune it's really worth!

Wes, you know better than to ask me to divulge OE PNs on the bbs. I will leave the cylinders in the boxes for the buyer, and if they choose to share them, then so be it. I will guaranteee that they fit 64-69. They may already be spoken for.

Mark A.
