Has anyone replaced their dash trim?

The ridiculous heat this summer has done a number on my dash. The wood grain around the ac vents and around my shifter are literally melting (it looks like) and peeling up.

Just wondering if anyone had ordered a trim kit and replaced theirs. Any suggestions on where to buy, etc. would be appreciated. Also I was looking on a few sites and trying to decide what look to go for. The brushed aluminum looks pretty cool but I am just not sure how that is going to turn out. I don't want it to look too flashy.

If its on your 80 just peel them off. Wood grain stickers are overrated.

I bought a set on Ebay from a vendor called mav_vs for my 100 Series and have been very impressed with the quality.

I also bought a set on eBay for an 80 I was restoring. I got a set that was darker looking "wood" that had grain (not burl looking), and it actually looked remarkably good! It was pretty easy to install, and the adhesive was strong. I tried to find the place it came from, but I couldn't locate the receipt.

Just make sure the kit you choose includes all the parts you want.....other than that, I'm sure they all come from the same mfr.
