Has anyone replaced the shift(er) control bushings on a FZJ-80?

Let us know if it works. If you find a bushing that fits and costs 10x less than the Rulon J bushing then that's a win for everybody.

The ones I posted on the previous page “work.” The OD fits snuggly in the housing but the ID is not quite snug @ 16mm. A bit less play than the 25 years old ones I just replaced.

I would second the notion to not jack with these…..ever.
