does anyone need a hardtop (1980). the fiberglass roof is toast(too much snow load sitting in the yard) has some rust, will give it to a good home and deliver to fsj before christmas. Dean

:flipoff2:

More or less straight?

If Pukey don't want it, and it is just a burden taking up space in your yard, I am sure we could find some space to have as parts or if it is in better shape than one of my other hardtops.

Hardtops rule! (course coming from a guy whos never had his top off!):hillbilly:

Sounds good to me.

I'll take it from you. If I don't have room for it I'll store it at denys like I have my 8274. Thanks.

I thought when I asked you to buy that thing, you said just keep it, cause that's the winch on the 60!:hillbilly:

You can most definatly store it either at my place or Jims, but if we need parts, both me and Jim usually forget who it belongs to and just dive in for them.:hillbilly:

ill take the trashed fiberglass top, Im gonna make a half hard for my buggy :D

If you can find me a tin 45 lid (I think Steve said he may have one for me) you can have my rusty trucks fiberglass.

Cheers,
Deny

Ill have an extra 45 tin lid, it will need hella work though;p

I am not too picky, plan is to chop up rusty into bit of an extended pickup, so will need to do a bit of streching anyway. Plus doesn't need to look mint since I will be eventually wheeling the piss out of that truck.

I probably said something like "Keep it, we'll figure something out". That = "Babysit it and don't break it and I'll use it as collateral when I really need your help with something" :hillbilly::flipoff2::p

Sometimes you forget which truck is a parts truck and start taking lenses of my 60 just cuz it not insured...

You'll have to learn to bake. ;)

Yeah I seen that. I guess I'll have to wait until I go down for Christmas and then just drop in to his new shop.

welldidn't make it even to Prophet on wed. blowing snow white out conditions and then theres the wifes car on the side of the road smashed(rear ended a gravel trailer) up no one around. i hit the ditch trying to stop. no one in the car(slight panic). A guy stops and tells me my wife and kid are fine and in a big truck at prophet. Go get reunited and decide it's safer for them to ride in the gravel truck instead of 4 of us in a pickup. we get to within 1/4 mile of the wifes accident and BAM I hit a gravel trailer slowing down for the greyhound accident, which the greyhound ended up against the side of my wifes car. what an F'ing day. there were about 8 vehicles in the ditch( in about 15km) that had rear ended gravel trailers at least no one was seriously hurt in any of the accidents(greyhound driver had to be cut out with the jaws of life but was not hurt) probablybe spring before I get to bring the hard top down if anybody would still like it.
