Hard Top Cleaner

I'm looking for recommendations for a cleaner to remove the black mold scum off the white top of the 4-Runner.

I would try some soapy water with some bleach added for starters. Works on fiberglass tubs and showers so why not a fiberglass top. That or some other bathroom cleaner like scrubbing bubbles, etc.

My '85 4Runner was red with a white top, so ya I know what you mean. I tried lots of stuff, but had the best results with a mild abrasive like Soft Scrub and soapy water, make sure you rinse really well after scrubbing with a brush to get it all off. Then a healthy coat of a good protectant like 303, DON'T use Armor All, it is fish oil based and rinses right off in the first rain and will cause ugly streaks down the sides of the truck.

I use wax & grease remover from the automotive paint store. It does a great job at taking off pretty much everything
