I have a 1992 80 Series LC it has been shifting hard from 3rd to 4th Tranny oil clean and changed any ideas.

if that doesn't work, try a drain and refill with Amsoil ATF. My 97 had hard and delayed shifting with fresh toyota ATV, I performed a drain and refill with Amsoil and its golden
