Happy 300K to my 100

We did it! We just rolled 300K in our 100 so we're celebrating. Took it out for ice cream.

Priced to sell indeed. Looking back, this was such a good deal. Thank you Austin! It's been the "Texas Lexus" as long as we've owned it. Mine and then my wife's daily driver. Still rust free in the northeast courtesy of fluid film. Full maintenance log and some photos below. We still love it, they don't make anything like it, and my kids won't let me sell it anyway even if I wanted to. So we'll keep driving it.

So your front pads lasted only 25k and the rears 16k, is that normal? mostly city driving? is the 100 brakes rear biased?

Congrats! Your paint still looks amazing. I am at just over 303k on my 2002 and it runs like a top. Not the cheapest vehicles to maintain but if you put in the $ and/or effort they will continue to run very well.

I think the rear pads were sticking, which is now fixed with the new rear calipers. But in general, yes lots of city driving, and my 100 is really hard on brakes. It's hilly where I live. I've switched from OEM to Brembo pads, pretty reasonable and a quick job.
