I'm taking my 3 year old in my 80 series cruiser on what she calls a 'venture this weekend and I'm looking for a good place to go. My previous one was to arches, we went up over Klondike bluffs, back down the other side to salt valley, and then over to tower arch and out 4 wheel drive road. She loved it but it was tough getting down to Moab and getting a cheap room to then drive all day and drive home. So, here is what I'm looking for.

Technically no harder than the previous trip (3-4 on the moab scale)
less than 2 hours drive from Salt Lake
Alpine lake camping
preferable point to point not out and back
no more than 50 miles off highway (for time)

Any thoughts?

I've been looking at the uintas but haven't found any good point to points that fit the bill
Also at Dry fork or Timbre for near duchene
The UTBDR track from mote cristo to Logan canyon looked promising but the maps on the site are garbage and are missing about 90% of that section.

Any help? personal luck? Areas to look at?
