Depending on how I recover from my ER visit last night I maybe able to come out one day this weekend and help again.

For next weekend, do we have anyone in the club that could lend us a sprayer for the stain? all I know is that it's water based wood stain and we have the entire shelter to spray. If you can come out and help that would be great, or if you could just donate it for the weekend. Thanks!
I have an electric sprayer you can use. I am on the Island for work this weekend, so someone would have to come by and pick it up.
I've got one of the lower end Home Depot models (I forget the brand name). Noisy little bastard but works okay.
Kids soccer is now in full swing, so Sundays are now shot for me, but I might be able to make it back up Saturday, not sure what the plans are yet.

I know it's more work, but I used one of those Wagner sprayers before to stain my fence and it just didn't give the desired penetration into the wood as a wide brush does. Just my 0.02.
great job on the build guys! shelter looks fantastic! wish i could have helped...but the summer was basically a write off! cant wait to see it in person and test 'er out.

what km is hale 23-24 km ?
plus did you get what you needed .when do you expect your help to be there..not a painter but looks like rain would the stain be zyleen or mineral spirit based ?

Hale is between 23-24, turn off to the right, the first trail is the "hard way" and straight down. The second turn off is the old "easy way" and has several turn offs, just stick to the right and you're fine.
The big things to accomplish is staining the logs (water based), luckily we have a roof so we should be fine, also building and installing a wooden "hale creek rec site" sign. Also there is a lot of 2X10 and 2X4 boards left over we need to make a home for, so we'll have to invent something. Supplies needed would be a shovel, drill, impact driver, hammer, an extension ladder would be nice, maybe a generator if someone has one.
As for when? Kim? what time are you planning on Saturday?

Do you need my sprayer? I can leave it for someone to pick up at the house but I leave today for the Island this afternoon or this evening.
Kim has my lighter two hand drill. I also have rewired the "beast" drill now. So, if you need a two hand drill with more "umf", I can also leave that for pick up.
