I have a H55F for sale that came out of a HJ60 with 175k miles. It is identical as one for a 2F engine. It does not come with the shifter, and transfer case fork attachment, since I needed that for the new one.
I replaced it with a new one, since it made noises getting it into 3rd gear. I therefore assume the third gear synchro ring needs replacement *34$ from marv specter http://www.sor.com/sor/cat066b.tam?xax=20555). Also, after 175k it could certainly do with new bearings.
It ran fine, does not slip out of gear, shifts easily, but crunches when put into third (from second up and from 4th down).
Basically, if someone wants to rebuild it it will be like new, or if someone does not care about the crunching it is usable as is.
I would like to get $500 for it. It is located in San Diego, and shipping will be expensive. I will be making a trip to bend/oregon in january and can drop off on the way.
please let me know if interested.
Thnaks,
Jan
