I don’t know how the platform would allow sale of cars without title. A lot of bad things could happen to whoever pays for this. Wrong way to implement a flip.

Auction just ended at $72k, reserve not met which I suspect was $84k based on seller being called out for also having it listed on cars.com which is a TOS violation when listing with Cars & Flips, I mean Cars & Bids.

I made a comment this morning about there being a noticeable uptick in the amount of sellers who have had family emergencies in recent years and got temporarily banned from commenting lol.

The way I see it, if it truly was a family emergency on the sellers end they should be happy to recoup what they paid for it which would have been right in line with the high bid.

Exactly. I got into it over email with their comment enforcer (Zachary Hill) when they repeatedly deleted my comments pointing to the vehiclehistory information. The basis was that it was "not verifiable".

These auction websites can eat a bag.

They aren't all bad, I don't mind the market speaking for itself per se. I just think it's weak when these sellers won't come out and just call it what it is. A flip.

It's almost like flippers are looked at in a negative light and nobody wants that association. Not even the company hosting the auction.

FWIW I find Bring a Trailer to be a bit more "free flowing" with the comments. As long as you keep it civil they tend to let it ride.

First 250 Land Cruiser first edition on there now.

Price increases are one symptom of inflation. If you want to point the finger for inflation, the buck stops with the Fed.

No worries, just finance for 96 months. By the time you pay it off you will have two years without a car payment, if you keep your cars for 10 years. If we get enough people to take this term, then we can really see high prices.
