I noticed a carved off piece of aluminum stuck to the LCA sway bar bracket on our GX. It looks like it has been parted from the inside of the rim.
The Dobinson IMS lift with replacement Dobinson billet UCA has been installed for 30k miles. No issues or noises have been noted.
I turned the steering from lock to lock and don't see any interference at ride height.
I'll check with the suspension compressed and extended.
Has anyone run into this on a mildly lifted Toyota/Lexus?
The only thing that looks like it would groove the rim is the kdss/swaybar bracket on the LCA. It is a little shiny like it is the offender. But what would make it suddenly start to contact the rim?
