I am a long time White Knuckle guy, but thought I would just ask you guys the above to see if anyone has any feedback.

Thanks,

I have Dissent step Sliders, stout, look great. Shown to be stout on their LC. So 100% approval on function and they will stay on my GX.

Having said that, I wouldn’t buy them again. Compared to the other sliders I’ve historically installed/helped with these are an absolute pain to install. No instructions other than a general YouTube video. The rear most drivers side bracket can’t clear an adult human hand to get the threads started. Had to have my youngest bend their arm to get a starter thread. On the passenger side one of the brackets interferes with a KDSS line. I thought it was an error, reached out to get corrected. No, not an error, you have to hand bend the KDSS line. Really?

So, my experience on GX. Look good, fit well, are stout. I really hope they change their design.

If I could go back I’d look harder at Slee for one that is both a slider and a step.

Leaning Dissent or Slee myself.

I did a little more research….I’ll prolly go with Slee after all. I plan to call tomorrow and see if I can get any more detail on when they will be ready and how far they actually protrude from the side of the doors. I need some old lady door-ding protection.

Pretty certain they are currently in stock.

They say out of stock but they also say “Special Price”? The install instructions are not the greatest. BudBuilt did great videos for their installs. Slee needs to follow suit.

I called and spoke to Brian at Slee. The Slee sliders are cool, they tout a "Stronger" steel, but I think I am going to go with the WK after all. I know these work and work well, easy install, etc.

Very nice!
