I just bought a 88 fj62 it is awesome it has a 4inch lift 35 mtrs 4:88 lockers f/r it is nice need to do some bodywork but no biggie i drove it home from maryland sat and it was awesome i live in elizabethtown it did great the whole way home. sun i noticed red fluid on garage floor i got that instant sick feeling so i crawled under and it is coming from a line next to the tranny under the pass side they look very rusty so when i start it up and it is sitting there at idle it starts dripping pretty good so now i am not driving it at all beacause i don't want to burn up my trans i am looking all over for those metal lines but i cant find them anywhere any ideas or can i use rubber i don't know what to do... this is my first auto i just sold my 4runner which was stick everything was so easy to fix i know i am going to love this cruiser but the whole leak deal makes me neverous cause i don't have the money for a new trans so anyways let me know i would be very thankful and would like some info on meeting up with lc owners
 
do you think toyota has those metal lines or can i replace those with rubber because it is not just regular metal lines it is prebent

i am thinking of buying some lights and parts from cool cruisers i need to get it inspected so light need to replaced are therer any better places cheaper
 
i am not to far prolly like 2hrs come down 81
 
i need side front markers that on the fenders, two tail lights the rear bezel that is over the license plate mirror i found all the stuff on cool cruisers and i was going to order all new lights the bezel for the plate, mirrors the antena and like one other thing and it was like 500 bucks i have a thousand left over from the sale of my 4runner that i need to use to get inpected i need to buy a new windsheild

cool this site will come in handy thabks alot i know good thing about wrenching but it makes it nice to have some know how i am only 24 so i need help along the way
