Group 31 battery in FJ60?

Quick question - will a group 31 battery fit in an FJ60 battery tray? I may be able to pick up an Optima Yellowtop at a good price but it's a group 31 and appears to be almost too large.

I've run grp 31 Optima Yellow tops in both the 60 and the 80. JUST fits. Need to modify the stock hold down to accomdate the different hieght of the YT.

isn't the group 31 the really big and long one? I got one in my 45...its huge

After confirmation from the 3FE list (I hadn't seen the responses here yet) I grabbed it. A blemished group 31 yellow top for $100. Got this through an Interstate Battery warehouse. The also had a few red tops for about $65.

Good to hear from you. Yeah, they're a big battery, but the last one you'll ever need. I had TWO in my 60, and may double up in the 80, if I can get rid of the OBA compressor mounted on the fender.
