Starting to think I sold these last two too cheap

Sale pending. Thank you Mud group for all your comments and interest. It was a pleasure offering such a fine unmolested truck.

Please let us know what it sold for.

I was also very tempted by this one...great find!

The rust on the rear sill doesn't bother you?
Hi oakweb. Rust used to bother me. Hard to find any 40 year old vehicle without rust. Sometimes when the hole isn’t all the way through it just gets cleaned and painted. My body guy explained to me,
if it’s rusty, replace it. If we are replacing the whole sill or 50% of it, the costs are the same if it’s done right. This truck is a perfect example of an original unmolested well maintained beauty. Most guys spend more on their Polaris Rangers than the asking price for this truck. They don’t make any more of them. We all ought to take these treasures and protect the last remaining ones.
I was overwhelmed by private messages all day. Not once did the rust come up. “Original” was the topic of discussion of the day.
I’ve loved these 40’s since my first one, which was a brand new 1973. Had a few since. Rust is a given. This truck comes with all the days gone by and many memories and many more to come.
Thanks to all you mud guys that cherish what we have.

Thanks for that, I do see far fewer rigs coming up for sale. I just sold two, I think the buyers got fantastic deals now as they are rust free. I have a couple more to sell still.

Personally I would have bought this truck if I could have and I was not worried at all about the rust
I want to find one 100% original paint like this one so I could do the repairs myself and make sure it was done right
it is only original once
if I had bought it I would have repaired the rust in the back and had a whole bunch of photos taken of the process
this one is a true original
