Grease knuckle seals/splitring/felts?? (1 Viewer)

In the middle of a knuckle rebuild. My manual doesnt say whether to put any grease between (in order) the knuckle housing, split ring, rubber seal, felt and backing plates. Dont want to re-do this later.

I have never used grease on those parts during assembly; grease just naturally finds its way there as soon as you start driving the truck if you fill the knuckles with it the way you should.
