grease front drive shaft

Hi,

I cannot get the nipple of my grease gun on the grease nipples of the shafts. The space is too small for the head of the gun. How do you guys grease these? Take the shaft off?

You probably just need a different tip. If you are using the fancy lock-on ones they tend to be too large sometime. I had to go back to the standard little push on hose for my GX even.

Neither of my grease guns would fit either. i had to buy a different grease gun hose with the narrowest tip I could find. Even with a narrow tip it's a little finicky to line up and get the grease to flow into the zerk.

Needle Grease Fitting.

Greased mine yesterday with the LockNLube head. Tight fit and had to rotate the DS to a certain orientation.

2nd the LockNLube head works for most of them and might require the DS to be rotated to a very specific orientation to get it to fit and lock on correctly. I picked up a Needle Grease Fitting for when I get frustrated and just want to be done with it.
