HAHA my username should be Hardluck! It's all turning out fine. Ill have the Jeep here in a week and Im going to be cutting off the back of the body this weekend and starting my flatbed. I'll still probably be daily driving it, I just don't like Jeeps that much.

I'd have used up one of my holes!!
I mean I can dig another one again, just that dam thing about only doing on moonless nights and still have to be able to drive there in the dark without lights!
I wish we could just drive some place and make em dig their own!

Which one is it??? My 84 runner got thrashed, they are giving me an 86 cherokee. 4.0 high output, should sell for enough to get another sa truck and have a little cash left, there are a bunch of jeep lovers in CO so the thing will disappear stat.
Man that really sucks! At least the tow company is stand up enough to trade you a truck even though their insurance isn't going to pay out.
Honestly from their stand point, you should sue their insurance! They already have a clam, so at the least their rates will be going up, why should the have to have their rates go up if they are going to pay out in such a poor manner. Did you contact AAA about any of this? They may be of some help too. Good luck finding a new truck.

Oh I'm sure the insurance would have done me better than he says but I can do more with a Running driving 4x4 than I can with even $1000. Been trading parts, and selling stuff I don't really need to bad so I'll still have everything I need to build a toy and when I sell the cherokee they give me I'll have another thousand bucks or so saved up to get what should be a halfway nice SA toy. They seem to get nicer when you get to the $2k range. I'll end up ok out of this. I went to court the other day with 5 charges from that day, and the DA got served! They had to drop 4 of the charges due to the fact that I got written a bogus ticket for reasons that if my local gov./DMV had their s*** together would have not been an issue. I got my truck impounded for bunk reasons and then my truck go totalled all in a few days. God was not with me that week lol, or was he? If I end up with a rust free 80 pickup I'm thinking so.
